MegaSimplify.com is a free online tools platform. Your privacy is our top priority. This policy explains exactly what data we do - and more importantly, do not - collect when you use our tools.
1. 100% Client-Side Processing
Every tool on MegaSimplify - including the JSON Viewer & Formatter, Image to Base64, Image Compressor, QR Code Generator, Random generators, and more - runs entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript. Your text, code, JSON data, and images are processed locally on your device.
We do NOT transmit, upload, or store your content on any server. Nothing you paste, type, or upload ever leaves your computer.
2. No Personal Data Collection
We do not require user accounts, email registration, or any personal credentials to use our tools. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, or payment information. Since all tools are free, there is no billing or transaction data whatsoever.
3. Cookies & Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage exclusively to remember your UI preferences, such as your Light or Dark theme selection. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any technology that profiles your activity across other websites.
4. Server Logs
Like any website, our hosting provider may automatically record standard, non-personally identifiable server logs - such as the requested page, browser type, and IP address - for security and to protect against abuse or DDoS attacks. These logs are never used to identify or profile individual users.
5. Third-Party Services
MegaSimplify does not embed third-party trackers, analytics that fingerprint users, or advertising networks. We keep our platform clean, fast, and free of invasive scripts.
6. Data Retention
Because we do not collect or store your content, there is nothing to retain or delete. Once you close the page, all data is gone. Any preferences stored in local storage can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Our tools are safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and since no accounts or registrations are required, no child data is ever gathered.
